After a sell-out season at Sydney Festival, Dorr-e Dari is coming home to Fairfield!

The Persian poetry show Dorr-e Dari: A Poetic Crash Course in the Language of Love will hit the stage at the Fairfield School of Arts on December 1 (7pm), 2 (7pm), 3 (7pm) and 4 (2pm and 7pm).

Dorr-e Dari, which was developed by PYT Fairfield in partnership with the University of Sydney, takes audiences on an intimate storytelling experience following epic love ballads from the streets of Kabul, Tehran and Quetta.

Producer Gabriela Green Olea said: "At PYT, our hearts go out to both the Afghan community and community of Fairfield who have gone through so much these past few months. It feels so special at this time as we open our doors to share Dorr-e Dari and bring back community, poetry, love, theatre, celebration and the cultures we hold so dear."

Dorr-e Dari has been supported by the Australia Council for the Arts and the NSW Government through Create NSW.
