Carols at Horsley Park cancelled

Last year it was because of COVID-19. This year it is the unpredictable weather.

The end result is the same: the Carols at Horsley Park have been cancelled. The event was scheduled for December 4.

"We are very sorry for all of our regular audience which looks forward to this as a fun, friendly celebration of Christmas with family and friends, in the knowledge that they are also helping worthy local causes at the same time," Rotary Club of Wetherill Park secretary Roy Hilton said.

"We also give thanks to the many sponsors, led by Smithfield RSL, who have supported the Carols and its accompanying $12,000 raffle which will be drawn at Smithfield RSL at 7.30pm Tuesday, December 7."

Tickets are still available online at rafflelink.com.au/wprotaryxmasraffle21 until midnight December 2.

This year's major beneficiaries of the raffle are: Anowah Community Living (Horsley Park), Rural Fire Service (Horsley Park), CASA - Community Action Services Australia (Wakeley) and projects of the Rotary Club of Wetherill Park.
