NSW Police are ramping up their investigation into the execution-style murder of underworld figure Mejid Hamzy, brother of jailed Brothers 4 Life gang leader Bassam Hamzy.
The 44-year-old was shot dead outside his western Sydney home at Condell Park home in October.
In March, police released CCTV footage of cars they believe may have been used in the crime - a grey Toyota Rav 4 and a matte black Mercedes Benz.
On Monday, police released additional CCTV of the Toyota and Mercedes, as well as vision of a third vehicle of interest - a white BMW 328i - in the hope it may prompt a member of the public to come forward with information about the crime.
Hamzy was ambushed by gunmen in his driveway about 7.30am on October 19 and died from multiple gunshot wounds at the scene.
Detectives from the State Crime Command's Criminal Groups Squad are investigating the murder, which they believe is linked to a gang war between the underworld Alameddine and Hamzy families.
A friend of the Alameddine family was assaulted just days before the murder.
Last month, Hamzy's cousin - Bilal Hamze - was ambushed and executed by gunmen in the heart of Sydney's CBD, in what police feared was an escalation of violence between the feuding families.
In regard to Hamzy's murder, police discovered all three cars in the CCTV footage travelled from Moorebank to Condell Park.
The cars were in convoy at Marion and Edgar Streets, Condell Park, before and after the shooting and the Toyota was found burnt out at Yagoona a short time later.
The Mercedes and the BMW returned to Moorebank before travelling to Luddenham.
In addition, police have released CCTV of two further vehicles - a silver Toyota Corolla and white Toyota Hiace van.
Officers want to identify the occupants of these vehicles, who may have witnessed the events before and after the shooting.
The 2001-2007 model silver Toyota Corolla was travelling north on Simmat Avenue in the moments before the incident, while the white Toyota Hiace van was seen, also travelling north on Simmat Avenue, moments after the incident.
