Students at St Gertrude's work towards receiving a variety of awards including a principal's medal which also comes with an invitation to share a pizza lunch with principal Linda Katsibras.

"Students receive awards in recognition of their consistent efforts to demonstrate SPBL expectations. These students are exemplary and help to create a culture of cooperation, academic excellence, respect and safety," Mrs Katsibras said.

"This helps each student not only to achieve their potential but also empowers them to make a positive difference in our community."
