A man has been charged over three alleged sexual touching incidents on a train near Yennora train station over the weekend.
In the first incident, about 10.50am on Saturday, two women aged 20 and 21 were seated in a carriage as the train neared Yennora Railway Station, when they were approached by a man who allegedly sexually touched them.
Both women managed to get away from the man and reported the matter to police.
In a second incident, about 4pm the same day, a 19-year-old woman was seated in a carriage on a train near Yennora Railway Station when she was approached by a man who allegedly sexually touched her.
She moved away to an adjoining carriage and reported the incident to police.
Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command commenced an investigation
Following inquiries, a 32-year-old man was arrested on a train near Yennora at 7.40pm on Sunday and taken to Fairfield Police Station.
The Guildford man was charged with three counts of sexually touch another person without consent.
The man was refused bail to appear before Fairfield Local Court later today.
