Through the lens, looking back on 2020

2020 ...what a year!

It was the year of COVID, restrictions on movement and the heated political and social discourse that went with it.

It was a year of bushfires, Ruby Princess and ICAC affairs.

As we look forward to a 2021 (that just has to be better than 2020), I've picked out some of my favourite photos of the year from the south-west (Fairfield, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Camden and Wollondilly).

Photos can convey a wide range of emotions from shock and anger, joy and relief, agony and ecstasy and they can reflect the thoughts of a community with just one image.
