It was a COVID-safe formal that will be remembered for a long time.
Last night, Bossley Park High School hosted their Under the Stars year 12 formal on their school grounds which were transformed into a magical formal setting equipped with lights, flowers and a red carpet.
Deputy principal Ann-Maree Ager said the decision to host the formal at school was made some months ago with the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 restrictions.
With their normal venue not able to accommodate the graduating class of 2020, a new COVID safe way to celebrate was established.
"Year 12 had missed out on so much this year, the staff went all out to provide a memorable night," Ms Ager said.
"Students voted for the type of food they wanted and two food trucks were on sight catering during the night, along with the Kombi Keg who served mocktails.
"Staff and students from the Entertainment Industry VET course and hospitality worked tirelessly to make the event a huge success."
