On October 11, police arrested a 31-year-old man from Denham Court. He was arrested in regards to alleged break and enters, other theft and fraud related offences that occurred over the past several months across the following suburbs: Bossley Park, St Marys, Fairfield, Edensor Park, Bonnyrigg, Carramar, Canley Vale, Liverpool, Lansvale and Warwick Farm. The man was was charged with:
- Three counts of break, enter and steal.
- 16 counts of dishonestly obtaining property by deception.
- Five counts of larceny.
- Six counts of entering a vehicle without consent.
- Dealing with the proceeds of crime.
- Goods in custody suspected of being stolen.
- Custody of a knife.
He is bail refused to Liverpool Local Court on December 7.
At 12:30am on Tuesday, October 13, a Mazda 3 was allegedly driving in an erratic manner on the M7 dangerously overtaking other vehicles before colliding with a concrete barrier causing substantial damage to the vehicle stopping near Redmayne Road. Witnesses stopped and called police. The driver was located by police a short distance away. The driver recorded a positive breath test. The driver subsequently failed to submit to the breath analysis at the station.
The 23-year-old woman from Dean Park was charged with:
- Failing to submit to breath analysis.
- Using an unregistered vehicle on road.
- Driving in a manner dangerous.
- Breach of bail.
She is bail refused to next appear at Fairfield Local Court on October 27.
Men charged with affray
At 8:30pm on Tuesday, October 13 a fight occurred at a licensed premise in Fairfield Heights. The parties were removed from the location by security and the fight continued in the car park. After some time, they left in separate vehicles. Police were called and a short time later arrested both parties.
A 29-year-old man from Greenacre was charged with affray and will appear at Fairfield Local Court on November 11.
A 30-year-old man from Fairfield West was charged with affray, being an unlicensed driver and driving under the influence of alcohol
He was initially bail refused by police, however granted bail at court and will next appear at Fairfield Local Court on October 28.
