Cabramatta MP Nick Lalich is recognising 'inspirational' grandparents in the Cabramatta community with certificates to show "appreciation, love and respect" for all they do.

To coincide with Grandparents Day on October 25, community members can nominate grandparents for recognition of their hard work and dedication.

"Grandparents play pivotal roles in our families, communities and across the state. Grandparents put in substantial hours supporting friends, family and their community; we would be lost without them," Mr Lalich said.

"We have some truly inspirational grandparents in the Cabramatta community and I would love to see them honoured for their efforts.

"Grandparents play such a special part in our families and yet many are alone and isolated during these difficult times."

  • To nominate someone, please contact the Cabramatta Electorate, 9724 3381, cabramatta@parliament.nsw.gov.au. Parents are welcome to nominate on behalf of their children. Nominations close on October 4.
