Strong performances at opposite ends of the ground from Rebecca Privitelli and Elle Bennetts propelled GWS Giants to a comfortable 28-point AFLW home win over West Coast Eagles.
Forward Privitelli kicked a club record-equalling three goals and provided a good target for her midfielders, while defender Bennetts dominated, taking several intercept marks.
GWS improved to 2-1 this season as they carved out a 6.6 (42) to 2.2 (14) victory on Sunday over an Eagles side still seeking their first win.
It took the visitors until the second minute of the final quarter to register a score.
They trailed 34-0 when Mikayla Bowen kicked a behind and within a minute, she added her maiden AFLW goal.
Imahra Cameron added a second goal just before fulltime - also her first in the competition.
That goal denied GWS their biggest winning margin, but their more polished play at the attack end gave them a big advantage.
The Eagles had several forward-50 entries but, until the final quarter, lacked the composure and accuracy to manufacture scoring opportunities and found Bennetts almost impassable..
"She had an amazing game today. I thought she was quite comfortably the best player on the ground,'" GWS coach Alan McConnell said of Bennetts.
."She looked like she was going to win the ball every time it went into her space."
Alyce Parker, Alicia Eva and Rebecca Beeson won and used the ball well for GWS, who rebounded well from a loss to North Melbourne last week.
Privitelli's goals were her first for the club and she joined former Giant Phoebe McWilliams (twice) and current teammate Cora Staunton as the only players to have kicked three in a game for the club.
Cameron, Dana Hooker and former Giant Emma Swanson all had plenty of touches for the Eagles.
Hooker collected a match-high 23 possessions but was forced off the ground late in the game after getting kicked in the face for a second-straight week.
"They (GWS) really brought intensity and pressure around the football and there was probably some moments when we didn't handle that all that well," Eagles' coach Luke Dwyer said.
"But to the credit of our group they never gave up and there was some good signs, in particular in the second half."
