PET OF THE WEEK | Active Dozer has energy to burn

Handsome: Dozer.
Handsome: Dozer.

Meet Dozer: a little pocket rocket who would love a home where he can get let loose and have fun.

The three-year-old bull terrier cross is affectionate and sweet, but with energy to burn. Dozer would suit a home with a yard where he can play. Still a young dog, Dozer would benefit from ongoing training and socialisation. While affectionate and playful, he can sometimes be a little unsure in new environments, so a home with adults only would help settle him in at his own pace.

All dogs adopted from Sydney Dogs and Cats Home come behaviourally assessed, vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, microchipped and lifetime registered with council.

Sydney Dogs and Cats Home is a council pound and not-for-profit community facility that looks after lost animals from Fairfield Council. Since 1946, it has provided refuge to homeless animals across Sydney including Bayside and Georges River.

Three week trials are available for all adoptions. They open their doors to 3000 pets each year and never place a time limit on any animal awaiting adoption.
