GROWING THE SOUTH-WEST | Willowdale launches new display village

This Saturday, November 23, Willowdale estate at Denham Court opens its new display village of 23 new-look home designs from 13 Australian builders.

There are family-friendly activities on opening day, including Lego characters, face-painting, balloon artists, live music, jumping castle and kids' workshop. Also complimentary coffee, cold drinks and woodfire pizzas. Plus a prize draw where the first 300 participants get a small prize for completing their Stockland passport which can be collected from the sales office on site. They'll be in the running for a major prize.

It's from 2pm to 5pm at Willowdale, on Joey Crescent at Leppington.

The new village will be the first in the South-West to show innovative designs created specifically for 25- and 28-metre-deep blocks and will feature solutions for building on shallow lots. The village will also demonstrate the latest in sustainability with a selection of the homes including seven-star NatHERS energy-efficient designs using the latest sustainable design and construction principles.

The builders on display are Fowler, Simonds, Rawson, Domain, Clarendon, Hoot, Casaview, Thrive, Elderton, New Edge, McDonald Jones, Wisdom and Eden Brae.

Sophie Ale, of Stockland Willowdale, said the new village was a one-stop shop for buyers looking to build their dream home at an affordable price. "With 23 new architect-designed homes to explore and the opportunity to get an up-close glimpse of their premium features, smart design and layout, the Willowdale village is a destination to explore quality design and construction.

"The village features contemporary homes on smaller, more affordable land options. These homes have been designed with a focus on spaciousness with a floorplan to maximise the space and potential of the block. Willowdale also has several parks, playgrounds and walking trails so residents have open green spaces."

Willowdale is offering a special Display Village Passport competition giving people the chance to win if they explore all 19 participating display homes. The major prize is an entire outdoor entertainment set, including dining table, fridge and barbecue from BBQs Galore, valued at $5000.

Homes in the new display village will be open from 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 11am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday from this weekend, November 23.
