PET OF THE WEEK | Leonie would make a perfect exercise partner

Those eyes: Leonie.
Those eyes: Leonie.

Leonie is a gorgeous and playful girl who loves tasty treats, her toy box full of goodies and a nice roll on the grass.

This floppy-eared goofball is playful and affectionate and may enjoy having another dog to play with and act as a role model.

The nine-month-old Bull Arab cross would make a perfect exercise partner for an active family. With her breed mix, her big bear paws indicate she will be a big lady indeed, so she needs a family committed to ongoing manners, training and socialisation at this early age to ensure she grows into a well-mannered and adjusted adult pooch.

All dogs adopted from Sydney Dogs and Cats Home come behaviourally assessed, vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, microchipped and lifetime registered with council.

Sydney Dogs and Cats Home is a council pound and not-for-profit community facility that looks after lost animals from Fairfield Council. Since 1946, it has provided refuge to homeless animals across Sydney including Bayside and Georges River.

Three week trials are available for all adoptions at Sydney Dogs and Cats Home. They open their doors to 3000 pets each year and never place a time limit on any animal awaiting adoption.
