Tenpin Sports Academy celebrates a decade of coaching

The Tenpin Sports Academy celebrated their 10th anniversary at their home base at Seven Ten Split in Fairfield last month.

The club coaches and develops bowlers from as young as three to adults. They also cater forAll Abilities bowlers.

Success has come in many forms for the club. They have had seven bowlers make state teams and two go onto Australian teams.

But coach Kathy Russell said the Tenpin Sports Academy has not only been for sporting development.

"It also incorporates life skills, fitness and mental health allowing each member to become a better person in all aspects of their lives," she said.

"It is a place where everyone is welcomed and encouraged to be the best they can be. It is not only a social environment but also a place for learning and developing skills as well as pushing yourself to limits which were previously unexplored."
