PET OF THE WEEK | Big loveable Thad needs experienced owner

Clown: Thad
Clown: Thad

Thad is big in size and big in personality.

At 40kg, the two-year-old mastiff cross is a hefty boy but that is all part of his charm. He is looking for a home with owners who are familiar with the special needs of mastiffs and large breed dogs.

Experienced dog people who can provide a calm home where he can be part of the family would be perfect. This goofy boy is people-orientated and playful and loves to play with his favourite toys. Thad is still learning to walk nicely on lead with his brand new halti but is a quick learner and eager to please. He certainly loves his treats though, so would love to continue his training, socialising and maybe learn a few more tricks at home.

All dogs adopted from Sydney Dogs and Cats Home come behaviourally assessed, vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, microchipped and lifetime registered with council.

Sydney Dogs and Cats Home is a council pound and not-for-profit community facility that looks after lost animals from Fairfield Council. Since 1946, it has provided refuge to homeless animals across Sydney including Bayside and Georges River.

Three week trials are available for all adoptions at Sydney Dogs and Cats Home. They open their doors to 3000 pets each year and never place a time limit on any animal awaiting adoption.
