POLICE NEWS | Man charged with drug offences

At noon last Wednesday, Fairfield police spoke to a man in a car parked on Eldershaw Road at Edensor Park.

They searched the car and found methylamphetamine and heroin. The St Johns Park man, 49, was charged with having a prohibited drug (x 2) and is due in Fairfield court on Monday, September 30.

Knife located at Bonnyrigg

At 3.30pm on Monday, September 2, a Bonnyrigg boy, 14, was seen holding a knife at the local shopping centre. He was spoken to by security staff and taken to an office. Fairfield police attended and arrested him. He was charged with having a knife in public and intimidation. He pleaded guilty at Parramatta children's court and was dismissed with a caution.

Shoplifting at Cabramatta

At 4pm last Thursday, a Cabramatta woman, 44, was seen to enter a shop on Hughes Street at Cabramatta and take a coffee machine, coffee pods, milk, shampoo and conditioner, wafers, soap and leave without paying.

The woman was charged with shoplifting and trespassing and she's due in Liverpool court on September 23.
