Daily Bean café has launched its After Dark dining menu for Friday and Saturday nights at Ed.Square's sales centre at Edmondson Park with tapas-inspired meals, cocktails, beers and desserts.
Just six months after opening their doors at Frasers Property's Ed.Square, proprietor Denis Simione said his dream of bringing the best coffee to the South-West has been a success and now he's taking on the nightlife.
The After Dark menu, for Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm, has been in demand since launching the evening trade back in February. "The launch has been a success," he said.
"I really love the social and creative aspect of hospitality. We're making lots of friends in the area with the school across the road and a job site next door. Our new café is a great opportunity to meet the locals and refine our ideas for the restaurant we plan to open in the new Ed.Square Town Centre. Our vision is to create a distinctive social gathering point."
The café is his second establishment, having opened a café under the same name four years ago at OranPark.
The Ed.Square cafe is open Mondays to Thursdays 6am to 4pm, Fridays and Saturdays 6am till late and Sundays 8am to 4pm. Next to the Edmondson Park train station, Ed.Square will comprise over six hectares of open space and a variety of home styles and floorplans across 992 units and 892 terraces and townhouses.
A 68-metre high residential tower atop the town centre is set to become an architectural landmark and epicentre of the new community, from which the village will expand into the streets and laneways that will flow into parks and bushland.
There will be a shopping, dining and entertainment precinct, which will include an Eat Street, Coles supermarket, fresh-food market place, Event cinemas, a childcare centre, tavern and healthcare facilities.
The first Ed.Square residents are due to move in later next year, coinciding with the completion of the first stage of the town centre. Ed.Square will be serviced by bus and train links to Parramatta and Sydney, with easy access to Sydney's main roads. Liverpool is three train stops away from Edmondson Park station.
