Image released in Cabramatta assault investigation

Police investigating a serious assault at Cabramatta have released an image of a man who may be able to help with inquiries.

About 4.40pm back on Monday, March 18, three men were at a licenced premises on Railway Parade, when they started harassing customers, one stealing a customer's drink.

They were asked to leave by the licensee.

An argument took place before one of the men struck the 40-year-old licensee in the head with a glass bottle, then punched him in the head several times.

The three men then left the premises.

Fairfield police officers attended and began an investigation.

The three men have been described as Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, 20, and 180 to 185 centimetres tall, one was wearing a black shirt and black pants.
