Police are appealing for public assistance after a distinctive Holden utility was stolen from a home garage at Fairfield East.
About 11am on Sunday, July 7, the occupier of a home on Macarthur Street, Fairfield East arrived home to find the rear door to the home's garage unlocked and a vehicle missing.
The vehicle is a green 1956 FJ Holden utility with NSW registration FJH38L and was reportedly stolen sometime between Sunday, June 16 and Sunday, July 7.
A crime scene was established and officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command are investigating.
Police believe the incident may be connected with the theft of two other collector muscle cars, stolen from a home in Derria Street, Canley Heights on Thursday, April 19:
- A red 1969 Ford Falcon GT with NSW historical registration 82248H
- A white 1971 XW Ford Falcon GT, NSW historical registration 83804H
