Driving instructor charged with allegedly sexually touching during a lesson

A driving instructor has been charged after he allegedly sexually touched a woman during a driving lesson at Wetherill Park at the weekend.

About 8am on Saturday, July 6, the 59-year-old man collected the woman from her home. During the lesson it is alleged the man inappropriately touched the woman on several occasions.

Following the lesson, the man returned the woman home and on Tuesday, July 9, the woman reported the incident to police.

At 9.15am yesterday (Wednesday, July 10), police attended Crabb Place, Cabramatta, and arrested the man. He was taken to Fairfield Police Station and charged with two counts of sexually touching another person without consent and inciting to do a sexual act without consent.

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court on August 7.
