Marko Jesic converted from the penalty spot to open the scoring after Richie Cardozo was brought down in the penalty area.

James Andrew's deflected shot sealed the result and book the Stallions' first appearance in the Waratah Cup final since 2010 where they won a 7-6 penalty shootout over Spirit FC.

Across town, and Sydney United 58 got a preview of their FFA Cup round of 32 opponents in their last-gasp 3-2 win against St George FC.
