PET OF THE WEEK | Do you have room for Nevada?

Sweet: Nevada.
Sweet: Nevada.

This absolute sweetheart is looking for the perfect home to make her own.

This six-year-old shepherd cross can be shy with new people and a little nervous at first, but warms quickly and once comfortable, she would love to become a part of a loving family.

Given her shyness, Nevada would benefit from ongoing training and socialisation to bring out the best in her and help her settle into her new surroundings. A quiet mature home with no young children would suit her best and she would love a friendly dog companion to play with in her new home too.

All dogs adopted from Sydney Dogs and Cats Home come behaviourally assessed, vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, flea and worm treated, microchipped and lifetime registered with council.

Sydney Dogs and Cats Home is a council pound and not-for-profit community facility that looks after lost animals from Fairfield Council. Since 1946, it has provided refuge to homeless animals across Sydney including:

  • Bayside.
  • Georges River.
  • Inner West.
  • North Sydney.
  • Randwick.
  • Waverley and Woollahra.

Three week trials are available for all adoptions at Sydney Dogs and Cats Home. They open their doors to 3000 pets each year and never place a time limit on any animal awaiting adoption.
