POLICE NEWS | Two charged with Cabramatta robbery

Last Thursday, police charged two males - a 19-year-old from Canley Heights and a 17-year-old from Cabramatta - with assault with intent to rob in company as a result of an investigation from a robbery that occurred at 7pm on Tuesday, June 4 on John Street Cabramatta. The 19-year-old was also charged with possessing a prohibited drug. The 19-year-old is bail refused to appear at Liverpool Local Court on August 13.

The 17-year-old is bail refused to appear at Parramatta Children's Court on July 16.

Knife located at Bonnyrigg

At 1.40am on Wednesday, June 12, police attended a service station at Bonnyrigg. A 26-year-old man from Dubbo was searched locating a knife with a 20 centimetre blade. He was charged with custody of a knife and will appear at Fairfield Local Court on July 24.

Man charged with larceny

On May 6, a credit card was stolen from a vehicle parked in a shopping centre carpark at Wetherill Park. Over the following hours the card was used at various locations at Bonnyrigg and Greenfield Park.

On June 13, a 25-year-old man from Horsley Park was charged with larceny and three counts of dishonestly obtaining property by deception.He will appear at Fairfield Local Court on July 29.

Youth charged with break and enter

During the evening of Saturday, June 15, a licensed premise at Edensor Park was broken into with sound equipment and power tools being taken. On June 16, police executed a warrant at a location in Penfold Place, Edensor Park. A 16-year-old boy from the address was arrested and charged with goods in custody suspected of being stolen, break and enter, knowingly dealing with proceeds of crime and possessing a prohibited drug

He was granted conditional bail to appear at Parramatta Children's Court on June 26.
