Images released over attempted fast food armed robbery at Edensor Park

Police have released security footage images of a vehicle and are seeking assistance from the community as they continue to investigate an attempted armed robbery in Edensor Park last month.

About 10.15pm on Sunday, May 5, a man entered a fast food restaurant on Edensor Road jumped the counter and threatened two staff members with a firearm, demanding cash.

The employees ran from the store and the armed man left empty handed.

He was seen leaving in a white Toyota Hilux travelling south on Edensor Road.

Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command attended a short time after and established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist forensic officers.

As inquiries continue, police have released security footage images of a vehicle and are appealing for assistance from the community to locate the car and identify the occupants at the time.

The vehicle is depicted as being a white Toyota Hilux.
