Three stabbed during aggravated break and enter at Fairfield Heights

Three men were stabbed during an aggravated break-and-enter at FairfieldHeights on Saturday morning.

About 2.40am on May 18, a woman and her male friend, 31, returned to her home on Ligar Street where two men, 18 and 24, were also living.

She knocked on the door because she couldn't find her keys and she was let into the home with her companion.

While the door remained ajar, another man forced his way inside, brandishing a knife and threatening everyone inside.

The intruder approached the woman's friend and stabbed his shoulder and head.

The two younger men approached the offender and there was a fight and they both got lacerations on their hands.

The offender ran off in an unknown direction and emergency services were called.

The offender has only been described as being dressed all in black and being armed with a small knife.

The 31-year-old man and 18-year-old man were both taken to Liverpool hospital by ambulance paramedics.

Fairfield police officers attended and established a crime scene. Inquiries continue.
