Fairfield mayor Frank Carbone is encouraging residents to experience the spirit and friendship of Bonnyrigg at this year's Fun@Bunker interfaith celebration at Bunker Park on Saturday, May 25.
The event will feature cultural performances (with audience participation encouraged) and free children's activities including inflatable amusement rides and a roaming balloon artist.
There will also be several food stalls at the event which runs from 12.30pm to 5pm.
"Bonnyrigg truly is 'all the world in one place'. It is a wonderful example of the diversity and harmony that makes Fairfield such a great place to live, work and raise a family," Mr Carbone said.
"I invite everyone to come to Bunker Park and enjoy the hospitality of Bonnyrigg's many places of worship and community groups."
This year marks the third installment of Fun@Bunker with festivities to include lion dancers, musical groups and dance performances.
Local community stalls will also showcase the various cultures and faiths located in Bonnyrigg.
- Bunker Park is located at Newleaf Parade.
