There are huge delays on the M7 for Macarthur-bound motorists following a truck crash this afternoon.

The crash, believed to be between several trucks, occurred near Eastern Creek about 3pm on Thursday, May 16.

Southbound traffic is queued up to 10 kilometres. One southbound lane remains closed.

Emergency services and motorway crews are at the scene.

Southbound motorists should expect lengthy delays this afternoon.

A car and truck have collided on the motorway's Wallgrove Road off-ramp.

Northbound traffic is affected.
