Goalkeeper Thomas Manos was the star for the Reds and repelled numerous chances from the visitors after the reigning champions restored parity through Radovan Pavicevic in the 63rd minute. United 58, who extended their unbeaten streak to four games, are in fourth spot on 19 points. Meanwhile, Marconi's 1-0 loss to Blacktown City on Saturday has seen them drop to eighth on the ladder. Mani Gonzalez' first half goal was enough to hand the Stallions their second straight loss after a four-match unbeaten run.

This Saturday (7pm) they host league-leaders Wollongong Wolves FC.
