Writing contest: Fairfield and Liverpool school students from kindergarten to Year 12 are invited to enter the Mounties Anzac Day creative writing competition to engage with Anzac Day traditions and honour Australian soldiers who served in all wars. Winners will receive a full day excursion to visit the Australian War Memorial and Parliament House in Canberra. Details:

Special day: Liverpool Fairfield Support Group will celebrate World Parkinson's Day on Monday, April 8 with a meeting at Liverpool Hospital. Guest speaker will be Professor Simon Lewiis. Fitness training: Free outdoor fitness sessions for residents of Stockland's Willowdale community in Denham Court include 45-minute sessions of boxing, cross training and yoga. Classes are held Monday to Thursday from 6am-6.45am, and on Fridays from noon-12.45pm in Willowdale Park, Jamboree Avenue. Details:
