Seniors Week is a "great opportunity" to recognise the continued input seniors make to this city, says Fairfield mayor Frank Carbone.
Fairfield Council will host a range of engaging events as part off 11-days of celebration of Fairfield's seniors.
"Seniors have made an enormous contribution to who we are today. In celebrating Seniors Week we take the opportunity to recognise their triumphs and wisdom while taking part in a celebration acknowledging their contribution," Mr Carbone said.
“It is important that we take this special time to celebrate who you are and what you have done for the city.
“Many of our city’s seniors have done extraordinary things for our community and continue to be involved. I encourage you all to join us and celebrate your commitment and contribution.”
