Crime Stoppers have called on Fairfield residents to join them in the fight against illicit drugs.

Crime Stoppers and NSW Police have launched the new Dob in a Drug Dealer campaign which aims at stopping Australia’s supply of drugs including methylamphetamine (ice), cocaine, MDMA, heroin and cannabis.

A Dob in a Dealer information session will be held at Thomse Ware Plaza in Fairfield on February 14 at 10am. Free coffee and snacks will be provided.

Residents can attend to find out more about how they can assist in making their community a safer place to live.

Crime Stoppers NSW director and CEO, Peter Price AM said illicit drugs cost millions of dollars and more tragically, human lives.

Mr Price encouraged all community members to attend.

“We all want the same thing for ourselves and our families and that is to feel safe in our own home and our community,” he said.
