GROWING THE SOUTH-WEST | Family & friends buy up 30 homes together at New Breeze

Nestled in the heart of the expanding South-West Growth Corridor, New  Breeze estate at Bardia is driving a new trend – friend and family neighbourhoods are forming within the larger community.

Dahua’s New Breeze is fast approaching the land sales finish line with well over 840 land lots and house-and-land packages now sold, valued at more than $360 million.

Prem  Shah and his wife Reejan  Mallashah, of Edmondson  Park, found New Breeze more than a year ago. “The idea of living in a new community central to several facilities, major infrastructure and expansive green areas was a prospect that appealed to us greatly,” Prem said. “So much so, we also enticed many family members and friends to buy more than 30 homes here to join us!

“We loved the idea of creating our own friend and family community and they very much liked the idea, too. The lots bought were small and affordable which is what we were after. As a group, we’ve bought eight homes in one street. The prospect of having our nearest and dearest so close to us is exciting. There will be about 80 of us living close.

“New Breeze is shaping up to be a highly sought-after neighbourhood. The Edmondson Park train station is across the road, Edmondson  Park Town  Centre is well under way next to the development and Bardia  Public  School next door is undergoing a $35 million facelift. One of my sons will attend Bardia Public School and the other is attending Macquarie  Selective High  School, which is very close, too.”

New Breeze sales manager Stephen  Bambury said: “The New Breeze masterplanned community is a south-west success story. Its proximity to existing and future infrastructure has been a catalyst for its land-sales results as well as the community’s position in the middle of the growth corridor.

“The price point, the wide range of housing and kilometres of open space for recreation have also appealed to a broad range of buyers, including first-home buyers, downsizers, upsizers, families and investors.”

Dahua recently got development approval from Campbelltown  Council for its $7.7 million Maxwell  Creek  Oval project at New Breeze.

In Parkside (stage 3), the oval spans about 12,000 square metres and has elevated views from the surrounding area into the precinct. There’s a large playing oval for cricket and two full-sized fields for rugby league and soccer, a nature-based play area, flying fox, swings and slides, picnic area, shaded barbecue area, swing, climbing equipment and amenities building for the sports facilities.

Development approval was also granted earlier this year for Ingleburn  Park and the Northern Corridor, worth about $3.3 million and connected to Maxwell Creek Oval. Ingleburn Park, of more than 4125 square metres, will be an active recreational space with a climbing wall, fireman poles, climbing net, slides, play equipment, shelter and seat walling.

Land lot at New Breeze start at 200 square metres, prices start at $340,000. All lots are easy-build and within walking distance of Parkside’s recreational facilities. There will be about 1300 new homes with a range of housing types.

New Breeze is eight kilometres from Liverpool’s CBD and about 45 minutes from Sydney’s CBD. It’s at the gateway to the expanding South-West Growth Centre and has easy access to the Badgerys  Creek airport.

Liverpool  Westfield, Casula  Mall and Crossroad  Homemaker  Centre are within a 15-minute drive and 12 public and private schools, including Macquarie Fields High School and William Carey  Christian  School, are within a 15-minute drive.
