WANDERERS | Bunch of excited kids get the A-League experience

On January 5, MitsubishiElectricAustralia and the WesternSydneyWanderers hosted a community kids’ clinic at Olympic Park’s ANZ Stadium.

The free clinic was designed to teach local families the importance of a healthy lifestyle, with a focus on fresh foods and physical activity.

About 150 children from Western Sydney took part in the one-hour coaching clinic with A-League players and Wanderers community coaches. It included basic ball skills, teamwork and game play.

After the coaching session, the youngsters were treated to a chicken rice bowl, created and prepared by Mitsubishi Electric brand ambassador and celebrity chef, EdHalmagyi. Recipes were included in the Healthy Lifestyle Guide so families could recreate Ed’s dishes at home.
