For the second straight quarter, all major criminal offences are falling or stable in Fairfield.
The latest crime data from the Bureau of Crime Statistics and Research (BOCSAR) showed in the 24-months to September 2018, 15 of the 17 major crime categories remained stable.
Robbery with a weapon not a firearm (down 47.4 per cent) and break and enter dwelling (down 29.1 per cent) were on the decline.
Fairfield followed the state-wide trend with all major criminal offences falling or stable across NSW.
Outside the major 17 categories, there was a big growth in arrests for cocaine use/possession (up 33.6 per cent) across NSW.
Prohibited and regulated weapons offences also rose 11.8 per cent.
