Bossley Park win Schools Cup

Bossley Park High School defeated Westfields Sports High School 1-0 to win the junior boys (year 7 and 8) division of the Western Sydney Wanderers Schools Cup recently.

After topping their group, the Neil Mann-coached team defeated Thomas Hassall Anglican College in the quarter-final 3-0 and Mamre Anglican 4-1 in the semi-final. The final was a hard fought contest with a lone first half goal the difference.

The Schools Cup involves more than 300 schools across western Sydney and is designed to get students active and playing football in a healthy competition whilst embracing sportsmanship, inclusion and social interaction. The Bossley Park junior girls’ team also made the semi-finals. 

SDSFA Technical Director Rodney Galic congratulated the team and staff.
