Police investigate after shots fired into Mount Pritchard home

An investigation is underway following a public place shooting in Mount Pritchard overnight.

Police were called to a home on Townview Road just before 1am (Thursday, November 8), following reports of shots fired.

A man who was inside the home at the time, told police three shots had been fired at the home.

The occupants of the home, two men aged 30 and 61, and a 57-year-old woman, were uninjured.

Officers from Fairfield Police Area Command established a crime scene after damage and a number of projectiles were located at the home, which will be forensically examined.

While inquiries continue, initial investigations suggest the shooting may be targeted.
