A Greenfield Park newsagancy have created their second lotto millionaire of 2018 – the only problem is the winner doesn’t know yet.
Greenfield Newsagent (shop 15, 3-5 Greenfield Park Shopping Village, Greenfield Road, Greenfield Park) sold a million-dollar division one winning ticket in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto, but the winner has yet to come forward to collect their prize.
The winning entry was one of the two division one winning entries across Australia in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3789 on Wednesday, August 8. Each entry takes home the guaranteed division one prize of $1 million.
It is the second division one winning entry the outlet has sold this calendar year. In April, a Greenfield Park man who had been playing his late father’s numbers on behalf of his family took home a huge $8 million Powerball prize from an entry purchased at the outlet.
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Bronnie Spencer said the division one winning entry was not registered to a Players Club card, so they had no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news.
“If you bought a ticket in last night’s Lotto draw from Greenfield Newsagent, we urge you to check it now! We may have your million-dollar division one prize waiting for you,” she said.
“If you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket, contact NSW Lotteries on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
Fairfield has developed into a lucky spot for lotto wins with Cabramatta has also having two division one Lotto wins in 2018 with a Cabramatta tradie winning $658,157.13.
A 69 year-old grandfather from Fairfield also won a $1.4 million keno jackpot.
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3789 on Wednesday, August 8 were 22, 11, 3, 2, 45 and 7, while the supplementary numbers were 42 and 10.
