Unregistered trail bike and drugs found in Smithfield

At 10:15am on Tuesday, July 31, police arrested a 22-year-old male from Edensor Park at the intersection of The Horsley Drive and the Cumberland Highway, Smithfield after riding an unregistered trail bike.  A search of the male located an amount of cannabis.  He was charged with possessing a prohibited drug, not wearing a helmet, using an unregistered and uninsured vehicle and driving on the path. His licence was also expired.

Dashcam stolen at Canley Vale

At 5am on Wednesday, August 1, a resident on Shortland Street Canley Vale was leaving for work and noticed a male in his vehicle. The male was detained with the assistance of several neighbours.  A dashcam had been taken from the glovebox. The 42-year-old male from Cabramatta was charged with larceny and will appear at Liverpool Local Court on August 27.  

Man charged after vehicle collision 

At 10am on Wednesday, August 1, a vehicle travelling on Cabramatta Road West has left the intersection at the corner of Townview Road, Mountt Pritchard and collided with a sign and concrete pillar.  Checks revealed the driver’s licence was disqualified until November 2018.  The 18-year-old male from Liverpool was charged with driving while disqualified ans negligent driving. He will appear at Liverpool Local Court on August 22.

Drugs and mail theft in Canley Vale

At 2:30pm on Thursday, August 1, police arrested a 22-year-old female from Claymore on Pevensey Street Canley Vale.  A search located an amount of heroin and mail in the name of numerous other people.  She was charged with two counts of goods in custody and possessing a prohibited drug. She will appear at Liverpool Local Court on August 28.
