A local derby between Marconi and SD Raiders headlines the round six fixtures of the FFA Cup on May 16.

The Stallions will travel to Ernie Smith Reserve to take on the NPL 3 Raiders for a spot spot in the round of 64.

In other matches, an all NPL 1 battle will take place at the Ilinden Sports Centre as Rockdale City Suns take on Sydney United 58.

Bonnyrigg have been drawn to face in-form NPL 3 team St George City, while Hakoah Sydney City East will host NPL 2 NSW Men’s side Mounties Wanderers.

In other football news, Football NSW will host the 2019 FFA National Futsal Championships at various venues across Sydney from January 9.

Venues for the 2019 FFA National Futsal Championships are currently being finalised with information to be provided in due course.

“Our neighbours at Capital Football (Canberra) also did a tremendous job in keeping the high standards of the FFA National Futsal Championships in tact,” Football NSW chief executive Stuart Hodge said.

“To be able to facilitate a prestigious tournament such as the FFA National Futsal Championships where players, coaches, referees and spectators anticipate this as the biggest week for the sport is certainly a massive coup for the organisation.

“Football NSW understands the responsibility of hosting a National Championships and we are committed to working with FFA to grow and develop the event and game of Futsal.

“Hosting the event in Sydney once again allows us to showcase our facilities at Valentine Sports Park.”
