Yes, it has happened again.
For the second time in five weeks, a division one Lotto win has landed in Cabramatta – but the latest winner may not yet know they’re now a millionaire.
An unregistered Cabramatta entry was one of two division one winning entries across Australia in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw on April 16.
Each entry won the guaranteed division one prize of $1 million.
As the Sydney winning entry is not registered to a Players Club card, NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news.
The winning entry was purchased at Saigon Bookshop & Lottery, Shop 6, Cabramatta Mall (47 Park Road, Cabramatta).
Last year, Cabramatta was named as one of NSW’s Lotto Hotspots after four division one winning entries were sold in the suburb, delivering $18,666,666.67 in division one prizemoney to players.
Last month, a Cabramatta tradie vowed to upgrade his house after winning more than $658,000 in a Saturday Lotto draw.
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Matt Hart urged all Lotto players to check their tickets as soon as possible.
“While we don’t know the identity of the winning ticketholder, I’m sure they’d love to discover they are now an overnight millionaire, ” he said.
“You may not think it’s possible that you could be the division one winner we’re looking for, but if you purchased an entry in this Monday and Wednesday Lotto draw that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance!
“We’re urging all players to check their entries as soon as possible and if you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket to contact NSW Lotteries on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
The six winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3756 on Monday, April 16were 11, 35, 37, 15, 10 and 40, while the supplementary numbers were 19 and 20.
