New South Wales Truckline Branch Wetherill Park has won Truckline’s Branch of the Year Award for the second time.
It was announced last week at the Truckline National Conference at the Gold Coast.
Truckline general manager Mick Henderson said it was a result of hard work.
“Wetherill Park ranked highly throughout the year across all our sales and performance metrics. They’ve worked hard, set a consistent performance standard and ultimately come home with the award as a result, something they should be very proud of,” he said.
The 23 Truckline stores across the country are ranked each year based performance on sales, profit and cost management. However, Mr Henderson said most importantly, it’s determined by customer relationships.
“At Truckline we provide unrivalled service and knowledge. We aim to build a partnership with our customers and if we can do that the sales will follow. It’s clear Wetherill Park is at the head of the game.”
Wetherill Park branch manager Cameron Hart said the accomplishment was made through team work.
“This result is a real joint effort. The team work very hard to go the extra mile for our customers. We know that expenses in this industry are a real concern. Truckline offers the best quality product at competitive prices, and it’s our job in store to help customers identify cost effective solutions for their repair or maintenance needs. Ultimately what matters for our customers is to stay on the road and they know they can rely on us to help them,” he said.
The three-day event kicked off with leadership training, followed by in depth workshops with 30 parts and accessories suppliers, including Castrol, Donaldson, Fleetguard and Narva.
The workshops focused on developing strategies to maintain optimal supply chains and ensure Truckline continues to serve customers and their needs.
“With access to over 77,000 parts for American, European and Japanese trucks, and 92% of our stock held in-store, we know we have one of the best part availability in the business.”
