Enrichment program: Cancer survivors in the Liverpool region have an opportunity to improve their lifestyle habits with a tailored exercise and nutrition program run by Cancer Council NSW starting April 19. The ENRICHing Survivorship program is a free group-based program comprised of eight, two-hour, face-to-face, weekly sessions. Help for parents: MyTime Liverpool is a group for parents of a child with a disability to share information and build a network. Free supervision of children aged 0-6 is provided while you enjoy a cuppa, morning tea and a chat. The next meeting on Friday, March 16 from 10am will feature a guest speaker on “Keyword Signing”. Fairfield on film: An exhibition exploring the rise of early cinemas and theatres as places for entertainment, in contrast with emerging young filmmakers, telling stories from their perspective. Riparian restoration: Volunteers are needed to help out with the enhancement and protection of the endangered River Flat Eucalypt Forest ecological community at Prospect Creek. Women’s VIEW: Social activities, speakers and raising money for charity are on offer at Moorebank Evening VIEW Club, which meets on the third Tuesday of the month from 6.30pm at Moorebank Hotel.
