A Wetherill Park store has been gutted following a fire early Tuesday morning.
Fire fighters were called out to a blaze inside the a furniture store on Horsley Drive at about 4.50am.
Fire and Rescue NSW’s Inspector Kernin Lambert told 7 News Sydney that about 80 fire fighters worked together to contain the blaze.
He said there was highly flammable and combustible materials within the store.
The two-storey furniture store was surrounded by about 20 businesses.
It is understood that it took fire fighters about 90 minutes to contain the blaze.
At this stage, it is clear what caused the fire.
