Kemps Creek truck rollover on March 5, Elizabeth Drive partially closed

One westbound lane has now been re-opened following a truck rollover on Elizabeth Drive.

A truck, carrying soil, rolled over on the Elizabeth Drive to Mamre Road roundabout on Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred just south of Kemps Creek at about 4pm.

One lane remains closed to westbound motorists.

Traffic remains heavy for motorists heading in both directions.

5.03pm:

There are still heavy traffic conditions in the Kemps Creek area following a truck rollover.

A truck rolled over at the Elizabeth Drive to Mamre Road roundabout at about 4pm on Monday afternoon.

The truck was carrying soil.

The road remains closed to westbound motorists and there are heavy traffic conditions in the area.

Diversions are in place through Bringelly Road or the M7 to M4 Motorway.

4.32pm:

Elizabeth Drive is partially closed following a truck rollover near Kemps Creek on Monday afternoon.

The truck, which was carrying soil, rolled over at the Elizabeth Drive to Mamre Road roundabout at about 4pm.

The road has been closed to westbound motorists and there are heavy traffic conditions in the area.

Motorists, in both directions, should expect delays and exercise caution.

Westbound motorists should consider using Bringelly Road or the M7 as alternative routes.

Emergency services and RMS personnel are at the scene.
