Nestled off Camden Valley Way in South-West Sydney, Catherine Park Estate is Camden’s latest development by award-winning developer Harrington Estates.
The estate is named after Catherine Park House which was built on a parcel of land originally awarded by Governor Lachlan Macquarie to William Douglass Campbell in 1815. The historic home has been restored and is a centrepiece of the estate.
The estate will ultimately be a community of about 1800 homes.
About 400 lots have so far been sold and the first residents moved in before Christmas with more than 60 families there now.
Lots are between 390 square metres and 675 square metres and prices range from $425,000 to $610,000.
Buyers can choose completed homes or house-and-land packages delivered by builder partners MainVue Homes and Wisdom Homes.
The estate features kilometres of pathways and cycleways, with sports fields, the off-leash Paw Park for dogs, a pedestrian boulevard and many parks complemented by natural bushland.
Residents will soon have access to St James Park and Robbins Lane, both of which will create new avenues for outdoor entertainment and leisure.
Robbins Lane is a pedestrian boulevard and cycleway that forms the cornerstone of the estate, connecting residents to Catherine Park House, kilometres of walking paths and the future neighbourhood centre.
The boulevard is well under way and is flanked with lush grass and mature trees that will form a shady canopy.
“The planning process for Catherine Park Estate was lengthy and thorough — we’re now reaping the rewards of rigorous preparation,” the developer said.
“As each home is built, each tree is planted and each street is finalised, we’re proud of the beautiful new suburb coming to light.
“We love being a part of the new place residents call home and are humbled that people are loving Catherine Park Estate as much as we do.”
