Do you think you have what it takes to be crowned the first Fairfield Warrior?
Applications will open next week for the latest attraction at the Bring It On! Festival which will see competitors test their strength and stamina in an all-new custom built obstacle course competition featuring nine obstacle zones including suspended ropes and a crash pool.
The winner of the male and female categories will each receive $1000 – along with the title of being the inaugural Fairfield Warrior. Local high school students can be nominated for the schools competition to win a prize of $500 for best male and female, along with $500 for their school.
Fairfield mayor Frank Carbone said in addition to Fairfield Warrior, an inflatable all-ages obstacle course will provide free interactive entertainment for families and include fun competitions with great prizes.
“Fairfield Warrior promotes the importance of health and fitness to our City’s young people and brings an exciting new form of entertainment to Bring It On! Festival,” he said.
“Council is committed to engaging our community with exciting opportunities like Fairfield Warrior and encouraging them to have fun and keep active.” The Bring It On! Festival is on April 15.
