BASKETBALL | Try it out, kids

Liverpool Basketball is offering youngsters the chance to come and try basketball on Sunday, January 28 at the Whitlam Centre, 90 Memorial Avenue.

With the boom in basketball and expected continued growth this is a chance for parents to bring their children down to the centre and let them try the game and learn about the great opportunities it offers.

With the new government participation fee of $100 for all school-aged kids it’s never been easier to get in the game.

Liverpool Basketball is also starting our new season for mixed basketball, a fun competition and a great way to enjoy social basketball every Tuesday evening.

We only have a few spots left for new teams or players looking to join up – either new players or those wanting to get back into the game.

For those teams and players interested in playing mixed basketball we start on January 30 and still have a few spots still available to enter.

Grab your partners and enjoy a great game and some laughs and work off those Christmas kilojoules.

Liverpool Basketball proudly serves the communities in our home districts of Liverpool and Fairfield, providing a range of programs for all ages and all skill levels.

From learn-to-play and special-needs programs through to senior basketball and representative programs we’ve got you covered.

Basketball is a family game and one that continues to grow and provide skills and opportunities for everyone.

No one is too old to play and there’s always something you can do if you love the game – coaching, doing bench and even officiating.

Basketball provides opportunities few other sports can match and it gives you the chance to advance your education and life skills while leading a healthy active lifestyle.

Get in the game!
