Man charged over Ermington armed robbery

A man has faced court charged over an alleged armed robbery at Ermington last week.

A male teenager, 17, was waiting in his vehicle, parked at Kendall Reserve, on Broadoaks Street just before 7pm on August 8 when he was approached by a man armed with a firearm and threatened.

Following a confrontation, the armed man fled with the teen’s wallet, mobile phone and keys. 

Rosehill Police attended and established a crime scene

Following investigations, officers executed a search warrant at a home in Regents Park on Friday morning.

A man, 28, was arrested and taken to Auburn Police Station, where he was charged with robbery while armed with dangerous weapon.

The man appeared in Burwood Local Court where he was refused bail.
