Sydney United 58 striker Panny Nikas scored his fifth goal in two weeks to guide the Reds into their third grand final in 2016.

United 58, who won the inaugural National Premier League Australia title in 2013, will play Edgeworth Eagles in the NPL decider after defeating the Brisbane Strikers 2-1 in the semi final.

Fresh of a hat-trick last week against Adelaide, Nikas scored a second half double to erase the visitors first half goal to send them to the grand final.

This year the Reds are 1-1 in deciders having won the Waratah Cup and losing in the NPL NSW men's one grand final.

United 58 will host the decider after narrowly finishing ahead of Edgeworth – the first club from Northern NSW Football to reach the decider –  on the points system.

The date and kick-off time for the NPL 2016 grand final will be announced today.
