The gates were opened on Sunday for a sneak peek into Aquatopia, Fairfield’s new Water Park behind Prairiewood Leisure Centre.
With the water flowing, residents had the chance to see what their summer holidays will bring once the park is officially opened in October.
The $7.5 million Aquatopia Water Park hosts a 10 metre high giant water slide tower, a 12 metre high adventure aqua tower and a StingRay surf simulator.
With a whole range of water features, a big tipping bucket, plus a special mums and bubs area, the water park is set to make Fairfield the place to be during the hot summer days.
Council worked with 12 primary schools to suggest names for the new park in time for summer.
The park was officially named Aquatopia after a suggestion by students from St Hurmizd Assyrian Primary School last month.
